Chapman School has a long tradition of excellence. Throughout the years Chapman has been recognized for outstanding programs. Chapman Elementary School earned an "exceptional" rating on its 2005-2006 state report card. The current building was built in 1923 and features a beautiful auditorium with balcony. The world's largest population of Vaux's Swifts makes their haome in the Chapman chimney beginning in late August and the first part of September.
